The Campus Community Book Project (CCBP) was initiated to promote dialogue and build community by encouraging diverse members of the campus and surrounding communities to read the same book and attend related events. The book project advances the Office of Campus Community Relations (OCCR) mission to improve both the campus climate and community relations, to foster diversity and to promote equity and inclusiveness.

About the 2018-2019 CCBP

The 2018-2019 Campus Community Book Project addresses the topic of community building, and features The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World by the Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu, and Douglas Abrams.

2019-2020 Theme & Selection

The 2019-2020 Campus Community Book Project will address the theme of violence/gun violence. The CCBP Selection Committee will review nominated titles beginning in summer 2018 through the end of the year. Please visit the CCBP Nominations & Selection page for more information.
