The Campus Community Book Project (CCBP) promotes dialogue and builds community by encouraging diverse members of the campus and surrounding communities to read the same book and attend related events. The book project—a signature initiative out of the Office of Campus and Community Relations, a unit in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion—advances the mission to improve both the campus climate and community relations, to foster diversity, and to promote equity and inclusiveness.

About the 2022-2023 Book Project

The 2021-2022 Campus Community Book Project focuses on the topic of transformative justice and police reform and features Defund Fear: Safety Without Policing, Prisons, and Punishment by Zach Norris. Read more about the selection here.
